Every week enfeebled and sick inmates of the Novograd Volynskiy ghetto were taken by train to the forest near Sukhovlya village and murdered there. Some witnesses say they were shot in groups in several graves [pits] located opposite the rail way station.

The people perished due to their hard labor. Every week a group of weakened and exhausted ones was selected and taken to the Sukhovolya Forest in the direction of Gorodnitsa and were shot there.
