According to the testimony of a former resident of Stanisławów named Adam Tomkiewicz, in 1943 – apparently, during the liquidation of the Stanisławów Ghetto – several hundred Jews were murdered in a field on Bathory (present-day King Daniel) Street in the center of the ghetto.

Adam Tomkiewicz, who was born in 1909 and lived in Stanislawow during the war years, testifies at the judicial proceedings against Eugen Ungurean:
…The third murder operation was the shooting of several hundred Jews in 1943, in a field/meadow near Bathory Street.
