Hitler's Assistants - Göring the Second Man

Documentary film that deals with Herman Goring (1893-1946) one of the heads of the Nazi regime, Reichsmarshal and commander of Hitler's air force. The film surveys his activity in the party and the Nazi leadership, his service as a pilot in the First World War, his various roles, his relations with Hitler, his family, his place in the annihilation of the Jews and others, his failure in the battle over Stalingrad, his arrest, being brought to justice at Nuremberg and his suicide.

Silent Night

One Survivor Remembers - Gerda Weissman Klein

Joint production of USHMM in Washington and the HBO television network for the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps: the memoir of Gerda Weisman Klein, a native of Bielsko, Poland, and the only member of her family who survived the Shoah. Weisman's story appeared in her book "All but my life", published for the first time in 1957. It includes archival photographs, archival films and location photographs. Winner of the 1996Oscar Award for best short documentary film.
