Murder Story of Bălți Jews in Movila Aviatiei

One day in July 1941 Romanian gendarmes took several dozen Jews under guard from the Ismanschi ghetto to a location in the suburb called Movila Aviatiei, where they forced the prisoners to dig their own graves. Then, in groups of 10, the Jews were forced to kneel in front of the graves and were then shot to death by members of a Romanian Gendarmerie unit.
