The photograph was taken during a Christmas party held in the home of the Haber family. Haber permitted Anita to hold the party in their home and she invited friends from the orphanage and from Chernovitz. Fredi is the person who brought Anita to the Beitar movement aliya training.

Zili Derman (the sister of Anita Derman) married Leo Gertler in 1940, following the entry of the Soviets into Chernovitz. They were deported to the ghetto following the entry of the Germans.
Max was a friend of Leo Gertler.

The photograph was taken before an attempt to make aliya to Eretz Israel. They were detained and sent to jail because their documents were forged.
Their clothing was donated by Paulette Groz, the wife of the millionaire.

Paulette Groz was the wife of a millionaire, and they did not have any children.
Paulette would dress and feed the children in the orphanages in Yasi and Bucharest.
On the back of photograph 'A', Paulette wrote this dedication to Anita:
"Anita, If I had a daughter, I would have wanted her to be like you: always full of desire and ready to help everyone. Remain that way, where-ever you may be, and may God bless you, and turn all that you suffered into happiness. Don't forget your friend (who is much older than you by a lot), Paulette Groz".
