Bucharest, Romania, Photograph of Paulette Groz, who volunteered to take care of the children in the orphanage, 1944.

Photos
Paulette Groz was the wife of a millionaire, and they did not have any children. Paulette would dress and feed the children in the orphanages in Yasi and Bucharest. On the back of photograph 'A', Paulette wrote this dedication to Anita: "Anita, If I had a daughter, I would have wanted her to be like you: always full of desire and ready to help everyone. Remain that way, where-ever you may be, and may God bless you, and turn all that you suffered into happiness. Don't forget your friend (who is much older than you by a lot), Paulette Groz".
