Notes from Ilana Drori who submitted the material: Herbert Berger was born in Berlin in 1894. When he was 10 years old, he moved to his cousin in Chemnitz who had a factory where Herbert learned his profession. Afterwards he also became a factory owner. He perished in Majdanek in 1943; his daughter Ilana Drori, who submitted the material, was sent to Sweden when she was 14 years old.
