From an assimilated family; family moves to Mannheim, 1934; relations with the local population.
Deportation to Gurs with the Jews, late 1940; camp life for a few months; transfer to Rivesaltes; transfer to a Jewish children's home in Montintin with a group of children, late 1941; transfer to a Jewish children's home in Couret; return to Rivesaltes after a few months; transfer in the direction of Drancy with her parents; rescue by a Jewish nurse who worked in the camp; transfer to the home of the nurse's parents in Grenoble; escape to Switzerland, 1943.
Life with friends in Zurich; aliya to Eretz Israel, June 1945.
