Terny
Ukraine (USSR)
As the Ulyanovsk County had lain outside the Pale of Settlement prior to the Russian Revolution, fewer Jews lived in the village of Terny than in other settlements of the Sumy District. German troops occupied Terny on October 9, 1941. In 1942, the SS killed two Jewish families in the village. The Red Army liberated Terny on September 6, 1943.
