The Rozvalina Farmstead was situated on the territory of Transnistria, that was occupied by the Romanians between 1941 and 1944. After the German-Romanian invasion of the Soviet Union several Jewish families from Bessarabia sought refuge on the farmstead. These families, together with two Jewish families deported from Varvarovka and one Jew from Nikolayev, were murdered outside the farmstead at the end of September 1941.
