Ratendorf ("Soviet village" in Yiddish) was a Jewish agricultural colony established in the 1920s. The Germans occupied the Ratendorf area in late August 1941. On September 3, 13 local Jews, together with one non-Jewish family, were murdered in the vicinity of the village.

Ratendorf was liberated on March 14, 1944. The village no longer exists.
