The Dzhurchi agricultural settlement was founded in the 1920s. In 1935 Dzhurchi became the center of the Larindorf Jewish Ethnic County. In 1939 about 140 Jews lived in Dzhurchi; the total number of residents was 787.
In late October 1941 the village was occupied by German forces. At the end of 1941 about 100 Jews from Dzhurchi and nearby villages were shot to death and their bodies thrown into a local well.
In April 1944 Dzhurchi was liberated by the Red Army. Subsequently the village was renamed Pervomayskoye.
