Interview by Mikhail Tyaglyy in 2011
- I was personally in charge of preparing the project proposal since I was a member of the Party Committee of the May 1st Region.
- What was in that proposal?
- The …committee recommended building a monument at the burial site where those graves were found, if the grave was in a field, then the monument should be near the road. On the memorial there should be a sign telling the story of citizens executed during the 2nd World War.
- Was this project approved?
- Yes, it was approved but never carried out. This proposal is now in the archive.
