This album is part of a series of albums that was found in the area of Lodz ghetto after its liberation. The albums were compiled by the Statistics Department, for the chairman of the Judenrat. The album contains data of the workshops and Judenrat departments.

The office was responsible for the opening of new ressorts and supervising them, for the receiving of raw materials for the workshops, and for supplying the finished products.
