Herman Wohlfeiler a survivor who lost his wife Freida and his oldest son Poldek, married to Julia Zukerman also a survivor who lost her husband and parents. The couple lived in Nowa Huta and managed a meat shop. After 4 years in Israel they immigrated to Germany and lived there untill their death, Herman died in 1978 and Julia in 1995.

Poldek Wohlfieler was 15 when he ran away from the camp. He was caught and brought back to the camp. He was hanged on a tree as a punishment.
