In the photograph: Robert Freilich, with the children of Yaakov Nathan Zuckerberg (the brother of Max Freilich, the grandfather of the submitter of the material). Robert Freilich (Rachel Gertrude Freilich's brother) was born in 1935. All of the family members, except for Rachel (the mother of the submitter), escaped from Vienna to a town in Czechoslovakia. The family members who escaped were deported to Auschwitz camp in 1942.

Rachel Gertrude (Freilich) was born in Vienna, Austria on 20/09/1922; Her parents were Sofia (Weissman) Freilich, who was born on 20/09/1899, and Max Freilich, who was born in 11/1899. Sofia and Max were the owners of a cosmetics and perfume shop, where only non-Jews were permitted to enter [for purchases]; the shop was destroyed during Kristallnacht. Rachel Gertrude's brother Robert was born in 1935.
