Genia Frydman received help from a Polish girlfriend and received new documents with the name Genia Kietowska, thus surviving and arriving to Copenhagen, Denmark. Genia made contact with her sister Helena (Frydman) Pelerman (the submitter of the material) in 1946 by means of a letter in the mail in which she had written her address. Helena and Genia reunited only 28 years later, when they arrived to Israel.
