Tzuk was a teacher in the orphanage and later founded an orphanage in Rechovot, Israel. At his side sits Yitzchak Belfer.

The dining hall, which was on the first floor of the orphanage, also served as part of the library and games hall.

The summer camp was held on a donated plot of land. Korczak is seated in the middle, while behind him sits Jacov Tzuk. Tzuk, who taught Hebrew and Yiddish to the children, later founded an orphanage in Rechovot, Israel.
