A short documentary film. The holy books of the synagogue in Leeuwarden were hidden during the war and in 1965 they were transferred to Kfar Batya in Israel. The synagogue of Leeuwarden, the archivist August Corree transferred the books to the archives of the city of Franeker. One teacher at the local gymnasium, Hartog Beem, realized the danger, and hid the scrolls in the library of the University of Franeker. הכנסת ספר תורה בגרודנה

סרט תיעודי על הכנסת ספר תורה בגרודנה. הכנסת ספר התורה נערכה באולם בית הכנסת הגדול בגרודנה התקיים, לראושנה מאז ימי השואר, בכ"ד אייר ה'תשס"ז , 21 במאי 2006. תהלוכת ספר התורה המסורתית בליווי מוזיקה, בשירה ובריקודים, עברה ברחובות גרודנה, שנסגרו לתנועה בעזרת כוחות הבטחון המקומיים, והגיעה לשער הגטו. את ספר התורה נושא מר צבי חסיד, אחד מאלפי יהודי קהילת גרודנה ששהו באותו הגטו, אחד המיחידים ששרדוהו. דרך אותו השער , דרכו עברו יהודי קהילת גדונה כשנלקחו להשמדה, עובר כעת בכיוון ההפוךת אחד משרידי אותה קהילה כשבעקבותיו רבים מיהודי קהילת גרודנה כיום. ובפיהם שירת עם ישראל חי.
