This film is presented by the educational unit of the production company “Shem Olam’, an institute which was founded in 1996 in Kfar Harrah in Emek Hefer by Rabbi Avraham Krieger with the aim of investigating and documenting the religious and spiritual world in the Holocaust. “The Rabbinical leadership at the time of the Holocaust” deals with Rabbi Zvi Yosef Carlebach who is known as the last Rabbi practicing in Nazi Germany. The film reconstructs his actions in the field of education and community leadership. Rabbi Carlebach led the community before the Holocaust and during it, until his murder in 1942.

סדרת סרטי מקור קצרים בהפקת בית הספר הבינלאומי להוראת השואה ביד ושם. סיפורה של בת שבע דגן.בת-שבע דגן נולדה בלודז' שבפולין ב-1925. אביה שלמה-פישל היה בעל בית מלאכה לאריגה, ואמה פייגה הייתה תופרת. לבת-שבע היו חמישה אחים ושלוש אחיות. עם פרוץ המלחמה בת-שבע ואביה הצליחו להגיע לראדום. בהמשך שיחד אביה חייל גרמני וזה הבריח את אמה ואת שתי אחיותיה לעיר. בני המשפחה הועברו לגטו הגדול בעיר. באוגוסט 1942 הופרדו בת-שבע ואחותה הצעירה סבינה מההורים ומהאחות הגדולה גניה, שנשלחו לטרבלינקה. בת-שבע וסבינה הועברו לגטו הקטן ובהמשך הן החליטו לברוח לגרמניה. סבינה נהרגה במהלך ניסיון הבריחה. בת-שבע הגיעה לעיר שוורין בגרמניה תחת זהות של מכרה...

רעב - מחתרת רופאי גטו ורשה

סרט תיעודי. הסרט מביא את סיפורם של רופאי גטו ורשה, שכנגד כל הסיכוים, בתנאים קשים ביותר של סגר, צפיפות ומחלות קשות, הקימו מערך בריאות מרשים שתיפקד 24 שעות ביממה, וסיפק שירותים לאוכלוסיית הגטו. המערך הרפואי של הגטו כלל כ-800 רופאים ורופאות, מדענים בעלי שם ואחיות מקצועיות. במסגרת המערך שהקימו, הצליחו הרופאים היהודים ליצר שני מיזמים חסרי תקדים: פקולטה מחתרתית ללימודי רפואה, ומחקר שעסק ברעב. הפקולטה הוקמה ב-1941, בניגוד מוחלט לפקודות הנאצים. מספר פרופסורים ורופאים, בשיתוף ראש מערך הבריאות ביודנראט, ד"ר ישראל מילייקובסקי, העמידו מערך לימודים ל- 500 הסטודנטים לרפואה שעברו לחיות בגטו. הלימודים התקיימו בכל תנאי...
