Without prior declaration of war the German army marched on 1 September 1939 in Poland. The attack on Poland, not only marks the beginning of World War II, but also to a large-scale ethnic cleansing. In the course of which thousands of Jews and Christians were driven from their homes, deported and killed. They had to make room for an experiment of racism. Documentary film based on photographs, archival footage and analysis, about Karl Haushofer, a German geopolitician who was involved in the development of Hitler's expansionist strategies. Born in Munich, Haushofer went to Japan where he began his studies to learn about this strategy for the Germans. During WW2, he fought on the Eastern Front and met Rudolf Hess.
