May Your Memory Be Love - The Story of Ovadia Baruch

In March 1943, when he was 20-years old, Ovadia Baruch and all his family were deported out of Saloniki to Auschwitz. Upon their arrival, his family was murdered immediately at the gas chambers. During many long months, Ovadia fought to survive and did so until his liberation from Mauthausen in May 1945. During his incarceration at Auschwitz, Ovadia met Aliza Zarfati, a young Jewess from Saloniki. This documentary tells of their unique love and survival story.

Survivor Jack Gutterman

This is an interview with Jack Gutterman, a Holocaust survivor from a small town near Krakow, Poland. Gutterman was 14 years old when he arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau and separated from the eight members of his family. Only one sister, Ethel, survived the war. Gutterman was tattooed and sent to work in the crematorium. He sorted the victims’ belongings for a year. With the approach of the liberating forces, Gutterman was sent out of the camp on a death march to Buchenwald in temperatures of 25 degrees below freezing. A short documentary. Avigdor Neumann was born in Velká Sevljuš, Czechoslovakia (Yiddish: Selish, preset-day Vynohradiv, Ukraine) in 1931 to a Hasidic family. In 1939, the city was annexed by Hungary and was renamed Nagyszőlős. In 1944, the city's Jews were imprisoned in a ghetto and deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Afterwards Avigdor was transferred to the Althammer camp and later sent on a death march to Mauthausen. After liberation, Avigdor and his sister immigrated to Israel. Avigdor married Rivka and they had children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A short documentry. Naftali (Juraj) Fürst was born in 1932 in Bratislava, Slovakia (then Czechoslovakia) to Margit and Artur. He had one older brother, Shmuel (Peter). After the Slovak State was declared and anti-Jewish measures were implemented, the family went into hiding but were caught. In 1942 they were interned in the Sered concentration camp. In 1944, they managed to escape to Piešťany. By then the Germans had entered and occupied Slovakia. The family members were caught once again and were reinterned in Sered, which came under German command. In November 1944 the family was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau...

A short documentary film. David (Dugo) Leitner was born in 1930 in the city of Nyíregyháza in Hungary, to an orthodox Jewish family. On March 19, 1944, the Germans entered Hungary and the day after Passover, all the Jews of the city were sent to the ghetto. After six weeks they were deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Upon their arrival at the camp, the family was separated. Dugo remained in Birkenau with about 4,000 other children. A documentary. Victor “Young” Perez, was a Jewish french boxer. He was born in Tunisia as Masu'd Hai Peretz. The french actor, Tomer Sisley wanted to make a movie about Victor's life. Victor rose to great fame in 1931 as the youngest world champion in boxing history. Victor was deported to Auschwitz, where he was forced to box in the concentration camp for the amusement of the guards. This documentary follows Sisley on his quest to learn more about Perez’s story and to meet the last people who knew Perez and the secret of his tragic fate.
