The total cost of this transport for 1013 passengers (1,000 Jews, plus thirteen Schupo police guards), was 2,950 reichsmarks. The invoice, after being approved by the Gestapo, was passed on to Hans Biebow, the chief of the Nazi administration of the Łódź ghetto. “Transport XXXII” left in the morning of March 25, 1942; on it 1,000 Jews were removed from the ghetto.
On March 25, Rumkowski had a notice placed on the billboards in the ghetto to deal with the rumor that the deportations had been stopped or suspended. It was published as notice no. 372 "regarding resettlement" and stated in German and Yiddish the following: "As I have learned, rumors were spread that resettlement has stopped. This is at odds with the truth. The resettlement is continuing. Therefore, persons destined for resettlement absolutely must, as before, report to the gathering point in question at the designated time, on schedule, or they will be resettled without their baggage.” ...
