- Preparations for the absorption of 20,000 Jews from the Altreich (those territories that were part of Nazi Germany before 1938), and 5,000 Gypsies; letter from Luchterhand of the Ghetto Verhaltung (GV-Ghetto Administration) to Regierungs Praesident Beierle, 08 October 1941;
- Reports submitted by Rumkowski regarding the movement of the population, October 1942-April 1944; according to these reports, the population numbered 77,349 people in April 1944, however, there were discrepancies between the data Rumkowski submitted and that of the GV; letter dated 07 January 1944 (p. 15);
