A documentary. Dora- Concentration Camp of the "Total War" tells the Story of the last concentration camp established in the "Third Reich". Its inmates were compelled to carry out grueling forced labour at construction sites and in the manufacture of the V2 "retaliation weapon" that the Nazis hoped would effect a turnaround in a war essentially already lost. Historical film footage and interviews with survivors from many countries of Europe convey an impression of what it ment to be an inmate of Mittelbau-Dora Concentration Camp and to perform forced labour for the "final victory" propagated by the Nazis. One third of the sixty thousand inmates did not survive their imprisonment.
