A group of twelve Jewish residents of Luginki were arrested in the village of Krasnostav, some twelve kilometers from Luginy. The victims were later taken to the Luginy railway station and shot. According to Soviet reports, there were both adults and children among the victims. The exact date of this murder operation remains unknown.

Nadezhda Pokhalenchuk, who was born in 1924 in the village of Luginki and lived there during the war years, testifies:
Q. How many Jewish families from Luginki were shot by the Fascists?
A. Five Jewish families = twelve persons. The Germans arrested them in the village of Krasnostav (but they were actually residents of the village of Luginki: Leyka Trosman, [name unclear], Gudya Trosman, Pirka Trosman, and Yevdokiya Trosman) and shot them at the Luginy [railway] station.
