Murder story of Jelgava Jews at the Nikolayevskoye Cemetery in Jelgava

On September 2, 1941, the Germans arrested forty-five mentally ill Jews and their psychiatrist, H. Idelson. They were taken to the Nikolayevskoye cemetery and shot with machine guns by the German police. The same pit was used for the execution of Soviet activists and POWs.
