According to the documents of the ChGK, in February 1942 six Jews living in the village of Andreyevka were shot dead at a pit in the area of the POW camp in the center of the village. The perpetrators were either German security policemen or the camp guards.

Anna Shevchukova, who was born in 1887 in Andreyevka and lived there during the war years, testified:
…In early 1942, at about 7 AM, during a heavy frost, the German monsters took out six naked and barefoot Jews and shot them all in a courtyard in the area of the same camp, throwing their bodies onto a pile.
…In February 1942, at dawn, in the… camp, the Hitlerite bandits took out six innocent civilians, including a child of about nine. The victims, naked and barefoot, were all shot dead….
