According to a Soviet report, several dozen “peaceful residents” of the town of Volchansk (most probably Jews), of all ages and of both sexes, were shot in a ravine near the Volchansk distillery. The exact date(s) of the massacre(s) and the identity of the perpetrators are unknown.
