In August 1942, the Germans arrested 14 people, at least 10 of whom were Jews, in Sengileevskaya. The detainees were taken to the German headquarters in the village, and later moved to the Molochnaya Farm to be shot. The Germans killed the adults first, and then the children.

...In the village of Sengileevskaya, under the German commander Leumant, several civilians were arrested in August 1942: 1 elderly person, 2 men, 6 women, 3 children, and 2 infants.
After looting their property, the occupiers took them to the Molochnaya farm and shot them. The adults were the first to be shot, followed by the children. The bodies of the victims lay unburied for a while, because the Germans had forbidden to bury them. The bodies of the Soviet citizens were eaten and ravaged by street dogs....
