Murder story of Zolskaya Jews in the Zolskaya Area

One night in December 1942, at about 11 PM, a truck drove into the village of Zolskaya. The Germans and local policemen forced 22 evacuees into the vehicle and drove them to a site in the vicinity of the village, where they were shot dead.

In addition to that, upon the orders of the commanding Gestapo [officer] T. I. Bert, the following citizens were loaded onto a vehicle during the night and driven to an unknown destination.

12. Suris, Polya, 7 years old.
13. Suris, Raya, 4 years old.
14. Knaper, Tsina Georgyevna, 40 years old.
15. Knaper, Grisha, 6 years old.
16. Knaper, Fima, 4 years old.
17. Tuman, Tsuko, 45 years old.
18. Tuman, (his wife) 40 years old.
19. Tuman, Lev (their son), 17 years old.
