Some sources report that some of Yemilchino's Jews were shot on the slopes of the right bank of the Uborot' River. The shootings at this site took place in September-October 1941. Further details regarding these events are unkown. The site was also the location of the murder of POWs.

I do not know how many they were, three or four. They were forced to come to the river …and then a pit was dug and they were shot. I did not know them. I can not tell youwho shot them. Most of the shootings were carried out by policemen.
