On September 14 (other source says it was on September 7), 1942), at 10 a.m. Germans and the local policemen arrested 48 Jews and took them to the headquarter of the local police forces. Then they took the Jews to the local animal burial ground. There the victims had to dig their own graves. The victims were divided into small groups and made to wait at the edge of their graves until they were shot to the death.

On September 14, 1942, at 10 o’clock in the morning, German soldiers and officers as well as collaborating policemen, took all the civilians of Jewish origin, a total of 48 people of different ages -- from infants in the parents' arms to elderly people -- to the local police headquarter.
Afterward, during the day, they were forced along the main street of the village to the animal burial ground. There they were forced to dig they own graves. While standing in small groups at the edge of their graves, they were shot to death, methodically, with short bursts by machine-gun fire.
