On November 25, 1942 the German military administration collected 48 or 49 Jews in the village center. They were forced to enter gas vans. The vans drove to a pit near the Trunovskoye Hills, outside the village. According to some sources, some victims were not dead and had to be shot to death despite the fact that they had been taken to the pit in a gas van.
