Apparently on July 5, 1941, a car with German officers arrived at the Młynów airfield. Several hundred Jews from the towns of Młynów and Murawica who had performed forced labor at the site were accused by the Germans of intentionally cutting the telephone cable that crossed the airfield. German soldiers beat the Jews and at the end of the working day the Germans shot to death 18 of the Jewish men. The Jews were shot in the head with pistols and a machine-gun. According to one testimony some of the victims were buried alive.
