At the end of August 1942 the Germans hunted for Jews in the village. They arrested 12 people, mainly women and children. They took them to the outskirts of the village and shot them near Izobilnoye. In October 1942 the Germans arrested a Jewish peasant and shot him to death near Izobilnoye.

... In the next group of innocent people who were arrested by the German occupiers was the family of Edelshtein, who worked as a planner at a grain elevator in the village of Izobilnoye. Also, the Feldman family consisting of a mother with two children, and Frida Goldenberg with her family. In this group there were 12 people, who were taken under guard to the murder site on the outskirts of the village and shot to death there.
