Murder Story of Arkhangelskaya Jews at the Otradnaya Airfield

On September 16, 1942, the Germans took 70 Jews to the airfield near Otradnaya, approximately two kilometers from Arkhangelskaya. Four pits were prepared at the airfield. The Jews had to hand over their clothes to the Germans. Then the Jews were killed by German rifle and machine-gun fire. Later the Germans used the pits for killing other civilians of the villages of Otradnaya and Arkhangelskaya.
