In early September (November, according to one testimony), 1941 a group of several dozen Jews was taken to the village of Veprik, about 7 kilometers northwest of Fastov for agricultural work. After a short time, Germans, apparently members of Einsatzgruppe C, and local auxiliary policemen from Fastov took this group of Jews to the forest near the road leading from Fastov to the village of Dedovshchina, near the village of Kadlubitsa, about 4 kilometers northwest of Fastov and about 2 kilometers southeast of the village of Veprik. First the auxiliary policemen raped the Jewish women before the eyes of the rest of the victims, then all of the Jews were shot at a pit which had been dug ahead of time.
