Murder Story of Shpola Jews at the Shostakovo Labor Camp

According to the testimony of a Holocaust survivor, Jews from Shpola who had been sent to the Shostakovo labor camp in Katerinopol County (just west of Shpola County) and who had become sick and were considered unable to work were shot in a pit dug in the middle of the camp. The date or dates of this massacre or these massacres, the number of victims, and the identity of the perpetrators are all unknown.
