Several days after Domaczewo was occupied, some sources say on June 24, 1941, several (or, according to some sources, six) Jews were caught by SS members and forced to dig a pit in the center of the village. Then the Jews were shot in the pit.

Ben Zion Blushtein, who was born in 1924 in Domaczewo and lived there during the war years, testified:
On the third day after the war began, which was a Tuesday, an SS unit arrived in the village. They caught several Jews and ordered them to dig a pit in the very center of the village. Then they were shot.
