On September 22, 1941 all the Jews of Kalinkovichi were taken to a railway station about 1.5 kilometers northeast of the town where they were shot to death. The victims' bodies were thrown into a ravine and covered with earth. The number of victims has been estimated to have been 700.

After all the Jews moved there, a second order required the Jews to assemble at the Klinkovichi railway station for a general meeting in order to discuss the improvement of their economic situation....
