Murder Story of Kalinkovichi Jews at the Kalinkovichi Railroad Station

On September 22, 1941 all the Jews of Kalinkovichi were taken to a railway station about 1.5 kilometers northeast of the town where they were shot to death. The victims' bodies were thrown into a ravine and covered with earth. The number of victims has been estimated to have been 700.

... On September 20, 1941 the German headquarters in the town ordered the Jews to move to Dachnaya Street. After all the Jews moved there, a second order required the Jews to assemble at the Klinkovichi railway station for a general meeting in order to discuss the improvement of their economic situation.... When the Jews showed up, they were taken about 1.5 kilometers northeast of town and shot to death. After this mass murder the bodies were thrown into a ravine and covered with earth....
