On November 20, 1941 following the order of the German military commandant of Trubchevsk, Colonel von Winning, 12 Jews of Trubchevsk were brought to the area of machine-tractor station located half a kilometer northeast of the town. There they were shot one after one and were dumped into a pit that had been prepared there.
