From the testimony of Emelyan Selyanko, who was born in 1907 (testimony was given on April 1, 1944):
… One day in 1942, in the spring, I do not remember the month, at about 4 a.m., I went out of my house onto the street and witnessed policemen leading 13 Jews at gunpoint past my house. After they passed my house, the policemen shot these Jews 100 meters from my house…. I saw with my own eyes Alexey Bondar, Maksim Kucher, Fedot Salo, Grigori Miroshnik, Evdokim Mits, Fedor Litvin, Ivan Gruy, Evdokim Lukyanovich Mits, Vasiliy Puaks, Roman Garashchenko, Ivan Derkach, Pavlo Shchur, and other [auxiliary policemen] guarding the Jews past me. All the Jews, including elderly women and small nursing infants, were shot with rifles by the policemen at a pit that had been dug…. I saw them [the Jews] being taken to be shot, but when all the Jews had been brought to the pit and the shooting started, I could not watch this. Only when all the Jews had been shot and the shooting had stopped, did I see the policemen going [back] to the village, while some of them, like Roman Garashchenko [and] Grigorii Miroshnik, were carrying two bundles with outer clothing taken from the Jews who had been shot to death….
