Akulina Khmil, who was born in Ivangorod in 1889 and lived there during the war years, testified:
…there were Jews living next to me, but later, in 1941, I do not remember in which month, they were taken away and shot. Overall during the German rule around 50 people were shot, I do not remember how many exactly. A few of them, just 3, were shot here; ... Three people were shot in front of my eyes – Shaya and Dunya Serduykov and their daughter…
