Murder story of Lyuban Jews in the Garden of the Local Executive Committee in Lyuban

On the night, November 6-7, 1941 a partisan group named in honor of Ponomarenko attacked the local police station and as a result several dozen policmen and the mayor were killed. Local Jews were accsed of cooperating with the partisans. In retaliation the Germans murdered the last fifty Jewish adult male survivors in the garden of the local executive committee.
