In October 1941 about 270 Jews of Begoml, 23 men and the rest women and children, were taken to a place in the town called Gotovo and shot to death there.
The ChGK reports from Begoml
State Extraordinary Commission for Investigation of Nazi War Crimes in the Soviet Union (ChGK) documentation dated 1943-1945, regarding crimes committed in the vicinity of Begoml, in the Minsk Region, Belorussia
... After the occupation [of Begoml] all the Jews were collected in one place, from which they were loaded onto trucks and driven to Gotovo, to pits from which sand was taken to construct roads. There the Jews were shot to death on October 2, 1941. On that day 270 people were killed. There were 23 men, the rest were women and children. On November 27 they rounded up those Jews who had escaped the [mass] shooting: 4 Jews were shot by policemen.
