A number of Jews from Zlatopol were shot in the Turiyanovskiy (Grushoviy) ravine. The victims' corpses were either buried or thrown into a nearby well.
Soviet Reports from Zlatopol
In 1942-1943 more than 1,200 [the number is apparently exaggerated] of Jews were shot or gassed by policemen commanded by the county gendarmerie head Kurt Kluge. The police carried out the shooting at the so-called Turiyanskiy ravine. The bodies [of the Jews] were thrown into a well located in the same ravine.
