On November 22, 1941 the Jewish population of Pogar was collected in the former Dom Kolkhoznika [club house of the kolkhoz members] that probably served as the office of the local authorities during the occupation. There the Jews were loaded onto trucks and taken outside of the town to the area of the former brick factory, where they were shot to death and buried in quarries there. The estimated number of Jewish victims from Pogar is 217.

On November 22, 1941 an SS murder arrived in Pogar. They shot 217 Jews. They had been in the courtyard of the local magistrate. Then they were taken outside of town in black covered trucks, brutally shot, and buried in two quarries of the former brick factory.
