A German murder squad arrived at Senno on December 29, 1941. On December 30 and 31, 1941 the Germans, together with local policemen, drove the Jewish population out of their ghetto houses in the Golynka neighborhood. Then the Jews were taken out of town. In groups of 40 they were taken to the old Jewish cemetery located 20 meters to the right of the road from Senno to Kozlovka village. There they were forced to lie down in a pit that had been prepared ahead of time. They were shot there; the children were thrown alive into the pit.
