The ghetto was liquidated on April 8, 1942, when all of its inhabitants (between 60 and 100 Jews) were shot to death in a place called Buriyevshchina.

Sophia Glushkina testified on November 9, 1943
... on April 8, 1942, my comrades informed me that a punitive unit had arrived…. The town was surrounded. All the Jews were herded into the yard and forced to strip.... The Germans, when they had completed the execution, returned to the ghetto for rags.
